Marina Cabeza
International Internship Program Director
Marina Cabeza is the Director of the International Intern Program at Engel & Völkers US, where she leads strategic initiatives to connect students and emerging professionals from around the world with global career opportunities. Originally from Barcelona, Spain, Marina was once an intern in the program herself, giving her firsthand insight into the needs of interns and the transformative power of the experience. She understands how the program helps interns unlock new skills, build confidence, and lay the foundation for future success at Engel & Völkers and beyond.
With a background in corporate law, immigration consulting, and strategic sourcing, Marina has worked across multiple industries, consistently driving innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and professional development. A licensed attorney in Spain, she also holds two Master's degrees in International Law, Business, and Human Resources, equipping her with a comprehensive perspective on global business operations. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan, with a strong understanding of French and Italian, she thrives in multicultural environments. Marina is deeply committed to bridging the gap between education and industry, empowering the next generation of professionals with meaningful, hands-on experiences that pave the way for future success.

Nora Beltran
Onboarding & Offboarding Coordinator
Nora serves as a Compliance Manager at Engel & Völkers, where she specializes in reviewing escrow files and assisting agents in ensuring their files meet all state and brokerage compliance requirements. Since joining the company in 2022 in the Aspen shop as an Advisor Concierge, Nora has leveraged her strong organizational skills and attention to detail to streamline processes and maintain the highest standards of regulatory guidance.
Before transitioning to the real estate industry, Nora enjoyed a rewarding career as an elementary teacher. She has a degree in Elementary Education, with a focus on English Language Learners. This background has fostered a deep commitment to clear communication, education, and support in her current role. Originally from a small farm town near Chicago, Nora now calls Nashville, TN home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and cats, exploring the vibrant culture of Tennessee, and pursuing creative projects, particularly her crocheting and embroidery.

Susan Martinez
Intern Support
Raised in Santa Cruz, Susan relocated to the Truckee area in 1984 and quickly fell in love with the Tahoe region—especially its unmatched summer season. She made Truckee her forever home, where she raised her three children and built a thriving career in real estate. As a Transaction Manager, she once managed an impressive 250 files in a single year.
Susan joined the Engel & Völkers family in 2016 and now plays an integral role working alongside the EV Gestalt Group’s Managers, Advisor Conceirge, and Transaction Managers.She focuses on continuously enhancing the White Glove service experience we deliver to our Real Estate Advisors and their clients. With a natural gift for customer relations, Susan thrives in fast-paced environments—whether she’s supporting staff, managing files, or training new team members. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her relaxing near Prosser Lake with her husband, golden retriever Darby, a glass of California red wine in hand, and her signature smile.
